About Us

KAS Makers Club is a club founded in 2025 by Andre su, the current President of the club. The purpose of this Club is to foster creativity and innovation by designing and building projects using tools and programs such as 3D printers, laser cutters, Blender, and Fusion 360. Through hands-on experience, we embrace trial and error, learning from mistakes to improve our work and push our projects to the highest standard. We focus on problem-solving, finding creative ways to overcome challenges, and developing the skills needed to bring ideas to life. During our regular meetings, members brainstorm ideas, sketch designs, and turn them into real prototypes. Students learn how to design 3D models, prepare files for printing or laser cutting, and refine their projects based on feedback. We also work in small groups, so members can share skills, teach each other new techniques, and collaborate on larger builds.

What we have accomplished

In the first 6 months after the club started, we’ve been actively promoting our club and participating in KAS school events such as the KAS Halloween Night and the KAS Fall Festival.

Our Goal in the Future

In the future, we aim to further promote the maker spirit within and beyond the KAS community. We plan to participate in more school and local events, showcase our projects, and welcome students, parents, and community members who are interested in design and creative building to learn more about what we do.
